Bio
I use my experiences and actual cases to inspire my mystery novels, which have won me two Runner Up Whodunit Awards, a Runner Up Claymore Award, and a WhoDUnIt Award. I was a military police officer for the U.S. Marine Corps and helped several local departments such as the Hiroshima International Criminal Investigation Division with community policing. I also worked for the Center for Domestic Preparedness, a training facility run by Homeland Security where first responders (police officers, fire fighters, health care workers, etc.) learn how to handle natural disasters, terrorists’ attacks, and mass casualty incidents. I lived and worked in Japan for 25 years teaching English at Japanese universities, and for the last ten years teaching criminal justice classes for Central Texas College at satellite campuses on American bases in Japan. I also did free-lance writing for 25 years and had more than 500 articles published. In addition to mystery writing, I provide writing tips and reports on writers’ conferences. I hope my experiences and insights will prove useful to all of my readers.

  1. Homicide in the Headlines is an extremely compelling thriller. It will keep you on the edge of your seat as the action unfolds. It is astonishing that this is the first book by this author. I look forward to reading many more books written by this gifted writer.

  2. I thoroughly enjoyed reading HOMICIDE IN THE HEADLINES. The complexity of the characters unfolding in the story kept me wanting for more information and gave me a relationship with them in understanding each individual’s pursuit of the villain. Being able to see through the villain’s thought processes gave a sense of “if only they knew” and added to the suspense. I loved the aspect of training despite the obvious setbacks of being short and knowing that no matter what one’s size, there is always a way to defend oneself. It did come in handy! I loved the action and it did not slow down which made me want to read the book quickly to find out what was going to happen I think it would make a great movie! Thank you to the author and look forward to reading MANY more books from this “gifted writer” as well.

    • Diana,

Glad you enjoyed the book. The second novel starring Terry and Paula is coming along and should be published in a few months. More good news, I am already working on the third novel of the series. Hope you enjoy them.

got some duplicate content so probably it is the reason that you don’t

  4. Glory,

Don’t know why it is loading so slow on your computer. This is something that a computer person can answer. I know when it is slow on my computer, it usually means others are also using the same network. How many people are in your home and are any of them playing computer games? That might be slowing down the speed of your computer.

  5. Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking
what theme you’re using? (and don’t mind if I steal
    it? :P)

I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.

In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for
“royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.

Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!

    • Dear Trumm,

Most of the photographs, especially the ones of the cats, I took myself. As for the organization, I am still working on it; but I want to focus on mystery novels and writing tips. Hope this helps.

  7. Heya this is somewhat of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
